It doesnt feel like Tuesday...

Today has been ok, the kids are getting better. Dr Theo says it was just a virus (thankyou God) and they should all recover within the next couple of days. Ruby is an absolute mess today, its really hit her and shes so snotty and crying :( I hate it when they're sick. Reiley and Jesse got new playstation games today to keep them amused while they're unwell. Times like this I'm thankful we have a PS2. While they're healthy I curse it thou LOL
We got our new Oricom phones yesterday.... ooooooh I'm in love! Only problem is they ring like american phones and I always think the phones ringing on the TV. I let a call go to the answering machine and the kids were gobsmacked when they heard the machine pick up and talk LOL
Anyway, no rest for the wicked... and I have bannana milk in the fridge YUMMO!

The Wedding

Well its Monday now and its all over. Saturday dawned bright and clear and beautiful (just as I knew it would!) Reiley, however was far from bright and clear. He was sick and ended up being admitted to hospital :( DH had to stay with him so I had matron of honour duties with worries of my little man and the other two kids to organise. I think things went ok there (except I forgot to look at myself before leaving the hotel room! I had no idea if I looked ok or not LOL) So we went to the ceremony at Lennox Head and it was just gorgeous. Then I got them to drop me at the hospital to see Reiley for a while then I jumped in a taxi and headed down to the reception. It went well and we did all the usual, cake cutting, bridal waltz (thanks for the dance Jonnno!) food and speaches. I was supposed to make a speech but felt too upset about Reiley etc to do so. I then left the reception at about 10:30 and spent the night in hospital with Reiley. DH brought me some clothes so I could be comfortable. We ended up leaving the hospital at about 2:30 that afternoon and came home to the other 2 kids vomiting and DH not in a good state.

All in all a beautiful wedding and I just wish I could've enjoyed it more and spent more time with family etc but you can't stop these things from happening can you.

Yawn

Dang-nabbit I'm so sick of being tired! (says the lady who's up the duff with baby #4). I'm so sick of getting to 8pm and thinking "well nothing better to do and I'm tired, might as well go to bed"..... I'm sick of BEING in bed, nothing fun happens in there anymore. Its just sleeping, insomnia, attempting to roll over and fighting for the blankets. PLUS our mattress is the suck-iest piece of crap in the known universe.

eergh. anyway
I just completed my tax return. OH JOY. Bloody ATO is only giving me a $900 refund this year :( it might cover the catch up on bills, but wont cover things we need like new kids clothes etc.

wow I'm a whinger tonight.
Good things ok -
1. My placenta moved and I can birth this baby naturally so no post-partem PAIN
2. The wedding of the season is on Saturday
3. I get to see my cousins I havent seen for like 7 years
4. I have my health, kids and DH are all ok, no major family shit going on

ok thats enough optimism for this late at night. I'm hungry now. Ok going to eat something unhealthy :)

28 weeks - only 12 to go

Hi-de-ho

28 week scan today and the placenta has moved right up out of the way. Looks like we'll have a normal birth instead of a c-sec. I'm fairly happy about that. No horrible recovery time, no huge chances of infection or massive bleeding or respitory probs with bubbalicious and no needles in my back! YE-HA!
We saw his face today, and his little lips. He looked amazingly like Jesse and Ruby, too cute! He's also measuring fine, sonographer said "he's not a big one" so maybe we'll have a "normal" sized baby for once! We've also decided on a name too. One that isnt on the list LOL. I'm more excited now that we have a name. I'm not telling thou, at least one thing has to be a surprise!

Sleepy Sunday

I seem to spend all my weekends lazing around the house or in bed. Damn pregnancy. I'm just so bloody tired all the time. I guess it has been busy with wedding plans and prep and going to work etc etc. I just need some energy!

Tomorrow is ultrasound day again yay! I'll be 28 weeks. Can't wait to see our little man again :) Reiley now wants to name him Captain Adventure and he's serious! No way LOL

Today has been rather blah. Or maybe thats just because its past my bedtime!

I swear the third trimester has hit with a vengance. Suddenly things are swelling, its hard to move, I'm getting awkward, uncomfortable and very sore! My poor back is crunching and clicking away its awful! I was cruising until now! Next monday is my next scan to see how that naughty placenta is going (I have placenta praevia) so we get to peek at bubs again. If its still low-lying its then off to clinic with me. I'm so not ready to be at the business end of this pregnancy yet. Too close for comfort me thinks!

I've had to load up my ipod shuffle for night-time too. Lucky for me we have some old HP speakers that DH has rigged up on the bedhead so I can listen in comfort. Damn apple earphones are bloody uncomfortable in my ears!

DH also ordered our new phone today. About bloody time too! The old one works intermittantly and is such a pain in the arse. It dies at the most inconvienient times! The new one is the brand new Oricom TA2000-2 sexy huh! I love being married to an IT geek who gets crap like this wholesale! Its the new touch sensitive technology ooooooh! Will let u know how well it goes (or not) once it gets here in 5-7 days (they're ordering direct from the manufacturer

Had a big scare on thursday night. After my big day I went to have a bath. I was sooooo tired after being up until 2am the night before and the big trip up to the gold coast that day with mum and SIL. Anyway stepped into the bath and was about to sit down and woooosh. My feet went out from under me, higher than my head and I came down on the side of the bath like a ton of bricks. DH heard me fall and came running and I was just sobbing histerically (sp?). I have a blue elbow and all under one armpit is badly bruised, as is the back of my ankle where my legs came down on the side of the bath. All I could do was cry and cry, and I had a glass of coke on the side of the bath... well I must've hit the glass because I looked down and saw all this swirling brown/red around my hip and FREAKED out. I thought bubs was doomed and then realised it was just coke Well that set me off even worse and I ended up getting out and going to bed sobbing. I woke up vomiting a few hours later, then again with some mild ctx but bubs has been moving around and there has been no more trouble thank goodness. I was so tired and emotional all weekend after that!

Katies Hens Night was on Sat night. I think it went well.... it was a nice dinner except they had it all made at different times so everyone ate at intervals LOL And it was cold! AND I ended up with a belly-upset! But SIL looked so cute in her flashing tiara, flashing brides sash, penis dummy (purple of course), princess wand, hens badge, flashing rubber "wedding" ring (that didnt bloody flash) and her glowing bracelets. I must get a pic off Glenn to put on here te-he!

Today is a dress trial thingy so we can get our dresses taken in (thank goodness its in not out LOL) but I'm assuming they wont want to see me until next week in case the belly grows? All I know is I get to wear my new bra today ye-ha lol.

97 days to go

97 days until the "apple falls from the tree" I hate that saying. Anyway, things are going well so far. Jr remains nameless and I dont even have a short list. Nada. Nothing fits! I had a dream last night that it turned out to be a girl and I instantly named her Eliza Pearl. I woke up terrified that the sonographer made a mistake, but I just think the dream was about the fact I dont have any boys names! BTW Eliza was after Eliza Doolittle and I immediately HAD to watch the movie today LOL 'Orrible 'Enry 'Iggins and all

Its also VERY close to Glenn and Katies wedding. The bucks party was last weekend and apparently the boys had a great time. The hens night is on Saturday night and it should be great. I've planned a surprise on Sat afternoon, then the bus is picking us up that night to go to the Tavern for dinner, drinks and a band. I hope Katie likes her surprise, it should be good.

Ok kids are driving me nuts and DH wants me to wipe up the dishes while he gets tea. Mmmmm chinese food!
