2007 in a word

I've been reading another blog where they suggest instead of making new years resolutions (which usually fail) try to sum up what you want from 2007 in one word. This is fairly easy I think for me. My word this year is PROGRESS. Progress in my career, progress in my studies, progress in my family life, progress as an individual. There is so much I can do this year with this word, its actually more exciting than resolutions.

Did I tell you all that I'm studying again this year? I'm not really sure why I applied now. I guess I've finished the accreditation process for Financial Counselling and right up until December last year work was only going to be 1 day per week as usual. This wasnt enough progress for me so I HAD to do something to better myself. Thats why I applied. Then I found the chance to apply for more funding with MV (the financial manager (bookkeeper) at work) and got 3 days paid. I am now no longer a volunteer in any capacity at work YAY. BUT this funding may take a while to be signed off on (its been approved, just waiting for it to fall from Heaven into our bank account). I guess studying while I can will benefit me somewhat and if it gets too much or I land the dream job I'll be gone. Its Cert IV in Community Work (welfare) at TAFE.

Anyway, kids are killing each other loudly so I'd better vamoose
Ciao
