Weekend dilemmas

I burnt the sausages. Burnt to blackness. With added soot. The kids were deleriously happy they didnt have to eat sausages. I should've fed it to them anyway to teach them a lesson LOL Now I'm waiting for the Chinese food delivery. Mongolian Lamb is almost as nice as home-made sausage casserole.

I finally got confirmation that my Scrapboxx order was sent on Wednesday. It also said that the parcel would be here on Friday. It didnt get here but I know it will be here on Monday. I cant WAIT! It has Basic Grey and Urban Lily papers, plus my quickuts tins. I want it NOW NOW NOW!

31 weeks tomorrow

How wierd. 31 weeks tomorrow and I'm feeling really unprepared. I have no bag packed, nothing to even pack IN to the bag. No hospital PJ's, no breast pads, no maternity pads, no creams, no baby clothes washed (they're still all packed away on top of the built-ins in a big box) absolutely nothing. I feel kind've flat about it all. I was supposed to do my glucose test at week 28 and STILL havent done that. I was also supposed to start clinic then too and still havent called to get an appointment. Why am I so slack? The last time I was like this was when I was pregnant with Jesse and very depressed. I dont think I'm depressed, I just feel tired.
I have no idea
Anyway, not much of importance to say so I'll be off.... ciao

Scrap Shack Lazy Me

Hey-ho neighbourino's

Finally... FINALLY I feel better after getting damn sick almost 2 weeks ago! I felt so well I did a load of washing (in my new washing machine ye-ha) Tax return was a little more generous than e-tax predicted so we did some amazing things with the money including buying a new washing machine (7kg front loader), and FINALLY a new mattress! The old one was bought new after Ruby was born and about a month into it it was all saggy, lumpy and basically useless. Financially thou we've had to put up with it until now! This mattress has a 10 year warranty (unlike the 5 year pro-rata on the old one) and I cant wait to sink into its cushiony depths. It should get here on Friday and I cant wait! Did I mention I was excited?

I also spent $40 on scrapbooking stuff from http://www.scrapboxx.com.au/ my fav online store! They're so helpful and reasonably priced. I also got 3 of these Quikutz Magpie nesting tins, one I think I'll use for all my odd alphas instead of pulling out the whole mess of drawers and searching to see what letters I have left. The other two I'm thinking about using as an OTP project of some sort. I'm sure I can turn them into something cute.

Did I mention I got the Oricom phones? I'm sure I did! I absolutely LOVE them except they have little smudge marks from fingerprints all over them. They have like a mirror surface on the front so they always look grotty. Other than that, they're fab!

Anyway, better go do something before DH gets home. I'm so sick of being stuck at home, but I dont want to go anywhere either :( so sad LOL
