Weekends, weekends

Today has been a slow and sicky day. Although I was very energetic this morning, I let DH sleep in. Got up with the kids, made breakfast, did a load of washing, ran a load thru the dryer and got the kids to clean their bedroom all before 8am.

Yesterday was Reileys 2nd Karate lesson and he was so upset and shy. The master came over and was chatting to him but no one pressured him into anything which was great. After a while one of the instructors came over and took him off for a 1:1 lesson then helped him join a group with the other kids. He was really enjoying himself blocking and kicking with a huge grin on his face. He looks so damn cute in his karate uniform too.

Jesse's swimming lessons start wednesday and I only hope he has as much fun as he does in the little pool at home. Eventually all 3 kids will be in swimming lessons by summer. The new baby will probably wait a year or so LOL

Baby names for our little boy are becoming so hard. I love Aidan (which is Irish for "Firey") and I love Angus but DH doesnt like those. I'm really not sure what will go with the other kids names. DH likes Jamie but I think its more of a girls name. I really love Harrison (Harry) too but DH screws his face up at that. Reiley is pushing for Coby (Kobe?) but I'm not overly fussed. I guess we've still got 120 days to find "the" name.

Its Cadbury, mmmmmmm

My dress came yesterday! Its waaaaaaaay too big around the top but fits nicely over my belly-bump. Soooooooooo pretty and so much prettier than in the picture on the Alfred Angelo website. Ben saw me try it on and immediately said "Its Cadbury's purple!". I didnt notice but it bloody well is! I cant believe it

This morning I'm going with Mum to find an outfit for her for the wedding. Always interesting. I have to fit it around a meeting from 10 - 12 (I'll be very late) and a client at 12, then work from 12 to 4.

Reiley starts karate today. Should be interesting to see how he enjoys it (and how much it will cost me in the end!) and Jesse is going to start swimming lessons so he's not left out of activities. I really wanted him to do Karate too but hes just too little yet. Part of me also wants to give them separate interests because the boys do so much together, they're the inseperable pair. And while its great that they're fast friends they also need time apart.
Poor Rubes is too little for much at all yet, but I hope to get her involved in something next year. Having a car really opens up the possibilities for our kids. I love it!

Where's my dress?

I'm very impatiently waiting for a phone call from SIL today. My bridesmaids dress should be arriving YAY! How exciting is that! (scroll down to previous post if you missed what it looks like). My only worry is how its going to look with my big fat preggy belly. I know my Mum is a bit upset that I'm pregnant AND being their matron of honour. BTW Matron? When did I get that old? Good news is that all Mum's family are coming. I havent seen most of them for about 8 years so it will be great to see them then. Its only bloody 6 weeks away!

That also reminds me. I have placenta praevia this time around so I have to go for another ultrasound that same week of the wedding. FUN. I also start full time work as of the 1st of July. Thinking about wether to salary sacrifice to our credit card or not. WDYT? We'd end up with more take home pay = less tax that way. But I'm not sure. Also need to pay more on the car loan so we can refinance and buy a new one after this baby comes. OMG its a BOY yay (not sure if I updated that or not?) We have NO boys names so bubs is nameless at the moment.
