Happy end of 2006

Well its NYE tonight, time to reflect on the year that was and look towards the year ahead.
Last year...... mmmm
Ok did some good things, worked, finished my Financial counselling accreditation process, made a good friend, went on a plane to sydney lol. Bad things... didnt get that job I wanted, flipped out halfway thru the year and got all depressed at my lack of progress work-wise.

2007 - well because I didnt get that job I'm really bummed out about next year. I did however get into the TAFE course I wanted to do which is good, and work offered me 3 more paid days which is an achievement. I'm just not sure what my plan is for 2007.

Today the kids are going with Ben to the park to play. Should be good for them :) I'm tossing up wether to go or not, have been sick so should really stay home but feel like I want to go play too ha ha ha.

Today

How uninspired is the title??!!! Sorry its early in the morning before work and thats the best you're gonna get.
Went for my job interview on wednesday. Came out feeling like a million bucks, thought I'd done really well. Still think I did ok, but I know one of the other interviewees and shes a great talker. Apparently there are several positions going so I'm chanting that fact like a mantra. Please please please, if there are employment saints out there I need to pray to them. This job would be GOLD to me, I'd LOVE a position in this field. Its in the public service but thats all I'm saying. The world is shrinking rapidly and I dont need someone figuring out where I live who I am etc. Paranoia or what!
Ok here it is, praying to Rita of Cascia because she looks after lost causes! Also I saw someone on my fav show Miami Ink getting a tattoo of Rita of Cascia (I think it was her, thorn wound on forehead) so it must be a sign. Want to find a patron saint?
Need some cheering up now. You should check out this blog if you want cheering up, I absolutely LOVE it and she has a great following. Erin is lovely and always manages to make me happy and slightly envious!

OMG its been so long

OMG how long has it been since I posted here? I'll go check once I publish this post.
R turned 1 yesterday. Shes so big now and walking its not fair. Where's my baby gone? Shes also started in that phase where they get the shits and shake their fists in anger. LOL The boys just laugh at her but boy-howdy does she have a temper.

OMG I havent posted since october! Its now december! How slack of me. Dont even know where to begin to catch up.

I've got a job interview on Wednesday. Pretty happy about that. Scared SHITLESS but happy too. I'm not saying where, but its a Government job. APS. This job means the WORLD to me and I really really really want it. I spent 2 weeks writing the application. Flippin heck it had the hardest selection criteria I've ever seen. Now just gotta get thru the interview.
