?

I know in my last post I was talking about a car... well we decided not too. We could afford it but I think I'd rather be able to take the kids places and still spend money on crap like scrapbooking (insert blush smiley here)
You guessed it, I've started paper scrapping again, after a breif interlude with digi scrapping I'm back to paper. Its my stress relief, especially the way work is going right now.
Things are ok at work, but theres some stress between staff members and truely I'm sick of the crap. One staff member in particular I feel undervalues everyones work, especially mine after a comment made the other day. But not for much longer I feel! ha ha ha Thinking about a change of pace and maybe applying for work elsewhere.
Anyway, TTFN :) but not forever!

More money than cents?

Thinking about buying a car. Only because it looks like we'll have a sizeable tax return after all, not the measly amount we'd figured on. I was originally thinking of buying a motorbike, but figured a car would be better family-wise... and if we could get it at around the same price as a new bike then why not.
Not sure thou cuz its a big comitment weekly... dunno if its worth it too. Car owners are fairly lazy too... would it be harder going back to pedestrian-ism if we got lazy about driving everywhere?
I guess its something to think about anyway.
WDYT?

Weekly schmeekly

Work has been crazy all week and here I am, Sunday night, all refreshed and ready for another crazy week right? WRONG.
My week was fairly good, work was great... staff meeting saw me looking at a new training opportunity - 4 day OH&S training sometime soon YEHA and also a new committee to be a member of, yeah. But the boss spoke of me pretty highly which was a big plus. My other career saw me take on 2 new clients which was pretty good. Cant talk about it obviously for confidentiality reasons thou. Hopefully this boss will be ok with whats been happening. I really want to see new clients more often.
Thursday saw me facilitating group training which was terrifying, but turned out fantastically. They booked me for the following week which must mean it went ok LOL Or perhaps they have a lack of speakers booked? I found the group really committed to the topic which was surprising and wonderful. And they were really responsive. Such a great group to work with.
And joy of joys I had friday off YAY! Also finished a report that was due for my funding which was like the weight of the earth being lifted from my shoulders! One down, two to go!
Saturday, felt great, even thou we only had 2 days until our house inspection by the real estate. BIG MISTAKE! Here it is sunday night and I'm freaking out... the floors havent been vaccumed, theres clean laundry waiting to be folded in the kids rooms and the doggone kitchen is somewhere under that pile of dirty dishes! Hopefully it can all be done in the morning (looking worried!)
OOOOh guess what! We got a kitten! Shes a manx cross, but with a tail. Soooo devistatingly cute. Re named her "Clover Socks Star Violet...(Lastname)" but mostly we call her Clover. Shes only 6 weeks old and I just love the sight of her. She fits on my hand shes so tiny. The kids luuurve her so much, especially Re. I was going to take a pic of her but shes dissapeared into the kids room somewhere under the beds.
Anyway, bed is calling me.... and not for a good reason, damn thing isnt made! lol
